Include your OS and app versions, the steps you took, and the error shown. Do not send passwords, private keys, or private details such as internal hostnames or IP addresses. Check screenshots for sensitive information before sharing them.
Choosing a language
On iPhone, open Settings and select Follow system, 日本語, or English. You can also open Settings from the terminal without ending your SSH connection.
tmux is not installed
Plain SSH connections work without tmux. To preserve work, install tmux on the remote host and select a reusable or existing tmux session.
The host key changed
Ask the server administrator whether the server was rebuilt or its keys were changed. Verify this through a separate trusted channel. Portline stops connections when the host key differs.
A connection closed after switching apps
The OS, network, or VPN may interrupt a connection. Use tmux on the remote host for longer-running work. Reconnecting can return you to the same reusable session.
